Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address students specific needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to enhance communication, language, and social interaction skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Conduct screenings and monitor the progress of students receiving services.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate and train staff and families on strategies to support communication skills in various settings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
